Wrapped up "Fundamentals of Database Engineering", and it's a really nice course.
Got to refresh some stuff I knew, but also some tidbits that flew under the radar.

The course is mostly focused on relational databases (though many concepts are general), but it's not about how to write SQL, but more on how things work under the hood.

It's not super in depth on how things are actually built, so you won't be creating your own database from scratch just by taking this course, but it provides information that helps with mechanical sympathy, which is useful to make the best of the databases we use in our systems.

Also, I wouldn't say the course is super well structured, feels very ad-hoc (at least in certain chapters), which is not at all a problem for me, I like ad-hoc stuff, but for folks who prefer a bit more structure, it might not be ideal.
